Roll 17: Choice

Negatives

Photo 1
I like the use of  rule of thirds in this photo, but there were some markes on the negatives that made the picture somewhat not appealing.

Photo 2
I like the simplicity in this photo, but its a little too simple and bland for a Bodos Bagels portrait.

Roll 16: Cale

Photo 1:
I like this photo's clarity, however if the subject had looked up it would put more meaning the photograph

Photo 2:
This photo uses rule of thirds and layer to create an interesting look, but it could be improved if the color contrast was more balanced

Roll 15: Dramatic Lighting

Negatives

photo 1
I like this picture because it uses framing and dramatic lighting.

photo 2
This photo uses the dramatic ligting, but the printing process could have been a little better to make the picture more clear.

Roll 13: Carter Mountain

contact sheet

Picture 1
I like this photo for the curved lines shown in the road and the pure clarity of the subject's face.

picture 2
This photo doesn't have an exact center of interest. I like the look of the logs, but overall it isn't too compelling.

Roll 12: Portraits

Contact Sheet

PIcture one:
Apt: 5.6
I like this picture because it uses framing, however i should've dogged her face so that it would pop.

Picture 2:
This picture uses framing. I like the angle of the shot, but her face is a little out of focus and darker than it should be.

I used my original picture to create a negative photo of my original and made it so all of the bottom right corners lined up.

Photo 1: This is a picture of a girl who is craving the food in the microwave. I tried to take a picture of her in that moment

Roll 4: Lines

Roll 4: Negatives

Roll 4: Photo 1
This is a picture of the use of lines to lead the eye in the direction of the focused part of the picture, in this case the focused part of the picture is the top right portion of the railing. The picture is simple, but a little too dark.
Printing: 2 second exposure
Apt: 5.6

Roll 4: photo 2
This photo is a picture of leading lines too, but this time with a curved line. The focus of the picture is on the end of the scarcase which also uses the rule of thirds. The picture could have been improved if it didn't have as much dust on it and if the bottom left and the top right corners were burned while printing.
Printing: 3 second exposure
Apt: 4
Filter: 4 1/2

Roll 3: Depth of field

Roll 3: Negative

Roll 3: picture 1
This is a picture of and asphalt driveway and cobble stone. I like the shallow depth of field, but i should've added more light to the bottom of the photo.

Roll 3: picture 2
This is a picture of a tree and the sun though the clouds.
Exposure time: 5sec
Filter: 2 1/2

Roll 2: Motion

Roll 2: Negatives

Roll 2: Picture 1
This picture shows motion using a slower shutter speed and a a smaller aperture.
Roll 2: picture 2
I this picture, but it would be better if the focus was on the subject of the photo.

Roll 1

Roll 1: Negatives

Roll 1: Picture 1
I like the arrangment of the tires because they were already there before I took the picture.

Roll 1: Picture 2
I like this picture because the pattern in the wood reminds me of a star fish, but I wish the focus was on the center of the wood and not the sides.
